Introducing the Celebration of Black Trans Women Cookout merch which features a vibrant screen‑printed illustration, designed by queer artist and cultural organizer, Terrell Villiers.

The merch is a play on a tee that was originally inspired by Tommy Blackwell’s 2023 tribute tee. It’s a nod to the classic airbrushed designs seen at family reunions, cookouts, and neighborhood carnivals—a style deeply rooted in Black American culture to memorialize the lives of lost loved ones. 

At the 2023 CBTWC, the tee went on to help raise over $20,000 for a Black trans woman recovering from gender-affirming surgery —transforming a symbol of remembrance into a powerful tool for care, joy, and collective support.
